HISTORY

 
In 1992, Having been fascinated by the diamond engagement ring buying process, Allen Fogel enrolled in the Gemological Institute of America's Gemology School. After graduating and earning his Graduate Gemologist Diploma, Mr. Fogel took a job with a high end jewelry store in Manhattan.

In 1994, utilizing his business background, Mr. Fogel founded Kingsgate Diamonds Inc., and opened its first store in Central New Jersey.  In 1999 he moved to his second store in Summit New Jersey. Among its major initiatives, Kingsgate helped to pioneer the widespread acceptance of the GIA certificate, and very well cut diamonds.

Today, into its second decade, Kingsgate is positioned as a highly focused specialist organization, equipped to advise the most discerning of clientele in their diamond needs.
