SOLASFERA PROOF 2 – LIGHT LEAKAGE

One of the major achievements of the Solasfera’s optical design is its ability to prevent light leakage through the pavilion (bottom) of the diamond. It is this escaping of light which can cause a diamond to look dull. The light within a Solasfera diamond is forced to reflect until it exits through the crown (top), where it can be seen by the human eye.

When using the Symetriscope – an improved version of the Firescope – we can see the Solasfera’s perfect light leakage performance – It does not have any! There are very few diamonds that can exhibit this effect. Even though light leakage is important, it is only one of many properties that make Solasfera superior. Please read on.
