IDEAL CUT DIAMONDS

Kingsgate’s major focus has always been the promotion of ideal cut diamonds.  Over the last several years, there has been a movement towards Ideal Cut diamonds, which we are proud to have been on the forefront of.

With the advent of so called ‘Super Ideal Cuts’; terms such as ‘Hearts and Arrows’, and ‘AGS Triple Zero’, have come into the mainstream.

We have a high level expertise in the optical properties of diamond, which cause it to have superior light performance. For this reason, when we examine a diamond for maximum light performance, we prefer to examine, by observation, its actual light behavior.

Using ‘Spectral-Photometry’, it is possible to measure with an exceptionally high degree of accuracy, the Brilliance, Fire, and Scintillation of a diamond. It is this scientific principle that a diamonds light performance should be measured and observed, which led us to select the Solasfera, as the benchmark for our signature ideal cut diamond.
