When answering the question ‘Why us?’, we acknowledge the fact that a diamond may be purchased in a multitude of different venues; the magnitude and differing types of which are astounding: Many utilize exotic sounding marketing terms to describe their low prices, such as wholesale jewelers, direct diamond importers… and the list goes on.
As diamond consultants, we eliminate the conflict of interest which is built into many diamond-seller relationships. Three examples:- (1) Internet retailers, who act as brokers by listing diamonds which they do not own, have a fiduciary responsibility to their suppliers. (2) Salespeople, who work for a diamond retailer, have a responsibility to sell the diamonds which their store-owners own. (3) Diamond brokers, who borrow diamonds from various diamond dealers, will have numerous incentives to sell an inferior diamond.
After we help to clarify our clients technical understanding of fine diamonds, our process is designed to source and locate, bearing in mind the clients objectives, the precise diamond that our client would wish to own: all of this, without fiduciary conflict.
